Founded in 1892, Liverpool Football Club is the most successful team in English football history. Boasting a joint-record eighteen League Championship titles, seven FA Cups, seven League Cups, five European Cups and three UEFA Cups, the name Liverpool is synonymous with success across the globe. Sporadically successful during the first half of the 20th century, the arrival of legendary manager Bill Shankly in 1959 heralded the start of a glorious 30-year period at Anfield, during which the club became one of the most feared names in world football.
The following iconic images document some of the greatest moments in the club’s post-war history and it’s players; whilst giving Mr Henry and NESV a reminder of the days we wish to return to.
