Newcastle, Spurs & West Ham after ex-Chelsea ace

Newcastle, Tottenham and West Ham are all pondering January moves to bring Demba Ba back to the Premier League, according to reports from talkSPORT.

The Senegal star – who has played for the Hammers and the Magpies in the past – left Chelsea to join Besiktas over the summer after being deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

But despite having only been in Istanbul for less than half a season, there is much interest in bringing him back to England.

West Ham and Newcastle are thought to be strongly interested the 29-year-old, while Spurs are closely monitoring his progress.

The African ace has hit 10 goals in 14 outings for his current side since signing in a £4.7m deal, and it’s thought that Beskitas want at least double that fee to let him leave.

Ba only spent a brief spell at West Ham, notching seven goals in 12 games, while his stint at Newcastle was very successful, with a return of 29 efforts in 54 appearances.

It remains unclear as to whether or not the experienced forward will be ready to end his Turkish adventure early, with reports indicating that he’s on a lucrative salary.
