Robinho hints at Barca switch

Brazilian striker Robinho has admitted that a move to Spanish giants Barcelona would interest him.

Robinho joined Manchester City 14 months ago for a British record transfer fee of £32.5million from Real Madrid but struggled for consistency last term and has missed much of this season though injury.

Barca recently declared their interest in the diminutive star who would not be averse to moving to the Nou Camp in January.

Speaking to Radio Bandeirantes, Robinho said:“I’m very happy about the interest that Barcelona have in me.

“Playing in the Nou Camp it is much easier to be the best player in the world than at City.

“However, I am not forcing a hypothetical exit from England and neither do I have problems with my coach.”
