Manchester City 6-0 Tottenham Hotspur

November 24th 2013 – At this point in the season, Tottenham Hotspur had the best defensive record before the kick-off whistle at the Etihad, but were completely torn apart losing their first goal in less than a minute.

The side has a good run of forms before suffering their worst defeat in 17 years in a match that would eventually set the tone for then manager Andre Villas-Boas’ side for the rest of the campaign.

Conceding that many goals against would-be champions Manchester City could be considered tolerable for a Spurs fan if it was a one-off, but they found out the hard way that it wasn’t.
