The 2010 Premier League Awards… the results are in!

I think it’s officially safe to say that 2010 has been the year of Tottenham in the Premier League. While Chelsea may have won the 2009/10 Premiership title and Manchester United are at the summit of the Premier League table at the start of 2011, it is Spurs who have impressed most. Tottenham have followed up an impressive campaign last season by working their way into the top four once more and making waves in the Champions League, too! Alongside Arsenal, Harry Redknapp’s men also play some of the best football in the country and have plenty of star players who have completed a clean sweep of the FootballFanCast.com 2010 Awards as voted for by you, yes you!!!.

Gareth Bale was at the double as he scooped the Player of the Year Award ahead of Samir Nasri and Carlos Tevez, getting more than 50% of the vote, as well as winning the Young Player of the Year Award, beating off competition from Andy Carroll and Jack Wilshere amongst others. Unsurprisingly it was Bale’s teammate Rafael van der Vaart who won the Signing of the Year Award, with Newcastle’s Cheik Tiote and Arsenal’s Marouane Chamakh coming in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Finally Tottenham’s Danny Rose won the Goal of the Year award for his strike against Arsenal and it isn’t hard to see why…

Don’t agree with the results? Then you should have voted! It was your choice whether you voted or not and these are simply the results. Here are the results in full…
