The one award Jose Mourinho really wants to win!

We’ve reached the end of the season in Italy and once again Jose Mourinho’s Inter Milan have won the Scudetto and been crowned as Serie A champions for the 5th season in a row. The Special One will now want to add a Champions League trophy to his collection and possibly leave the San Siro in the summer having won the treble in his final season at Inter. These are some fine achievements indeed, but they pale in comparison to being crowned as the Manager of the Season in the annual Italian Football FanCast Awards!

This would undoubtedly be the icing on the cake for the Portuguese manager and you can make it possible by voting for Mourinho in this season’s IFFC awards. These are some of the most hotly contested awards in Italian football and it is you the Serie A fans who choose the all-important winners. Do you think Mourinho’s achievements have been unrivalled this season or do you think Claudio Ranieri’s efforts at Roma deserve higher praise? The choice is down to you!

Of course the Manager of the Year trophy is not the only award up for grabs and there are eight other fiercely contested awards for you to vote in. The Player of the Season is the most prestigious award on offer, with Inter’s Diego Milito and Wesley Sneijder amongst the favourites, but Fabrizio Miccoli, Antonio Di Natale and Alessandro Nesta will all have something to say about that! The award that they don’t want to win is the Loser of the Season, but surely either Juventus or Adrian Mutu will soon be adding it to their mantelpiece.

The last but by no means least anticipated award up for grabs is the Marco Materazzi Award for Greatness. The Inter defender, who infamously had a run in with a certain French legend called Zidane in the 2006 World Cup, won the award last season but does he deserve to win again and can he retain his award this time around? The decision is yours, just click on the link below to make your informed choice!

Vote right now in the 2nd annual 2010 IFFC Awards!
