So Euro 2012 is over and the Spanish are the deserved winners. Major tournaments often see a flurry of transfer activity upon their conclusion as the summer’s showpiece event is the perfect opportunity for certain players to catch the eye and put themselves in the shop window. While obviously the likes of Iniesta, Xavi and Pirlo were the stars in Poland and Ukraine, Premier League managers and scouts will have watched the tournament with keen interest, looking for the next potential foreign superstar.
