The TEN ‘positives and negatives’ to take from Liverpool’s season

It’s been a strange old season to be a Liverpool fan, with controversy and disappointment being met with cup success and some individual brilliance.

The Reds have at times struggled, both on and off of the field of play, as poor form and an inability to find the back of the net have cost the club dear in their quest to return to the summit of English football.

However, the rough has indeed been met with the smooth, with fans and players alike enjoying a successful trip to Wembley and the prospect of domestic cup double, after a trophy drought at Anfield.

This season will soon be over, and the club can divert its attention to a new campaign, yet many lessons can be learnt from the failures this year, and a few happy memories can be taken from the glories.
