The Top TEN Premier League ‘Teens’ set to cause a stir in 2012

It seems that Premier League players are getting younger and younger by the year, with the veteran becoming a rare sight. Managers are increasingly turning their attention to teenage superstars in a bid to build the long term future of their club, while, in most cases, avoiding large transfer fees.

While some boys in their late teens are sat at home doing their homework or studying to get a job, a lucky few are rubbing shoulders with international footballing royalty, and stepping out onto some of the finest football grounds in the country.

It’s far from easy being a teenage professional footballer, with every privilege being complemented by issues such as pressure and expectation, but that’s not enough to stop every footy mad teen watching Match of the Day through eyes green with envy.
