Since it may never happen again, nobody can get enough of the incredible moment that was Leicester City’s title win, so we aren’t stopping either.
The Foxes somehow managed to go from relegation favourites at the start of the campaign to seeing their fans signing ‘Campiones, Campiones, Ole Ole Ole’ at the King Power Stadium, with Claudio Ranieri lifting his first ever league trophy.
And although no one can put a finger on what exactly sparked this incredible achievement, it must be said that it is the players that were the real driving force.
From the goalkeeper all the way to the attackers, it was a collective effort. However, it was the goals that turned them from a strong mid-table side, to Premier League champions. And there were some incredible ones along the way.
So if you’ve missed it or just want to re-live it, here are our top FIVE Leicester City goals this season.
Riyad Mahrez has been spectacular all season, but this well-taken goal against champions Chelsea was the strike that really showed that the Foxes could go toe-to-toe with the best.
If Mahrez’s strike was good, it was this skill then assist for Leonardo Ulloa against Stoke City that really showed exactly why the Algerian is the first African to ever win the PFA Player of the Year.
In a tough home game against a stubborn Newcastle United side, it took a special strike to break the deadlock, with Shinji Okazaki scoring a brilliant overhead kick.
Mahrez is once again in our rankings, with the midfielder completely bamboozling Manchester City’s Martin Demichelis to help Leicester to a very important 3-1 win.
No we didn’t forget Jamie Vardy, because we saved him for last. The England international scored not only our Leicester goal of the season, but a contender for the Premier League goal of the season as well. Watch and enjoy as Vardy smashes this past Liverpool’s Simon Mignolet.
