Anything might happen between now and the January transfer window. We could have another Wayne Rooney style fall out between player and club. We could see players hand in transfer requests and players fall out of favour at their club. The truth is, however, the January transfer window isn’t likely to be the hub of activity that many hope for or expect. Chelsea Boss Carlo Ancelotti has already confessed that he doesn’t expect Chelsea to do any transfer business during the January transfer window. The NESV are seeking to lessen Liverpool’s wasteful spending, which is likely to mean little activity on the transfer front this January. On the other hand, the likes of Spurs and Manchester City have squads that are too big and will be looking to shift players sooner or later. In the rush to reorganise squads and arrange finance, a number of decent players may be available this January for cut prices. Here are our top 10 January bargains.
