Stoke’s defensive injury troubles haven’t held back their performance against Bournemouth, as we’ve seen a truly chaotic start to the second half down on the South Coast. Injuries to Muniesa and Glen Johnson have left Stoke with a make-shift defence and the Cherries have managed to concede 3 goals to a Potters side in woeful form.
Joselu’s arrival on the pitch saw him pick up another goal, whilst Hughes decided to pop Mame Diouf (of all the players!) in at right-back.
Twitter can’t quite believe what they’re saying.
Stoke fans never too optimistic..
I go to the zoo for a few hours, come back and we've put 3 in…. I'm assuming we're playing ok? #scfc

And they can’t get the Match of the Day chip off their shoulders…

Paddy Power clearly not too keen on the Potters’ fanbase.
Stoke have gone 0-1 up away to Bournemouth. Fans delighted, naturally. pic.twitter.com/t1UqDdNvvu

Its hard to see the logic in using Diouf defensively over Afellay or Walters…
Mame Diouf is playing right-back on a booking and Bournemouth fans are baying for his blood!

Incredible news as ex-Barca man is a good player!!
Afellay has been immense today! Top quality player and signed for nothing. Signing of the season!

And again, turns out buying players from Europe’s best clubs is a pretty good tactic for a mid-table side..
Shaqiri beating his man then putting in an inch perfect cross, Joselu didn't have to move. Ritchie's finished banged too
