Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Niko Kranjcar might not be featuring much for his club, but he is certainly playing well for Croatia .
Kranjcar led his national side to a 3-0 win over Malta in the Euro 2012 qualifiers, scoring a brace and providing an assist.
Kranjcar played on the right flank, which is the position which he has been mostly occupying since last season (when on the pitch), after playing for most of his career on the left.
With the win Croatia went top of Group F with ten points, being undefeated with three wins and one draw.
Kranjcar has recently expressed his displeasure at being on the Tottenham’s bench, and has since been linked with many clubs, including Bayern Munchen, Newcastle United and most recently Liverpool.
Liverpool are particularly keen on signing the 26-year-old, and are looking for someone to fill in for the injured Steven Gerard.
For Croatia , Kranjcar has always been a steady provider, making 61 appearances for the national side and scoring 15 goals since 2004.
