Football FanCast guest columnist, Dean Webber, is sick to the stomach of these parasites, who's only purpose is to destabilise football clubs for their own personal gain.
Is anyone else sick of the continual speculation around Liverpool? If it's not the press driving a wedge between the board and supporters then it is the parasites that use transfer windows to destabilise clubs by touting their clients around to other suitors. They are a disgrace in every sense of the word and some sort of independent committee should be set up to the rid the game of these leeches once and for all.
The reason for my frustration is down to the latest instalment from Masch's agent Walter Tamer who has chosen the time to once again stir the mix at Liverpool and claim that his client is itching for a move away from English football and then had the audacity to then give clubs the green light to make sizeable bids as that will tempt us to sell. Who does this man think he is and it is the last thing that Rafa Benitez needs.
Tamer said: "Barcelona is the easiest deal to set up as Javier wants to go to Spain. He is tired of life in England.
"His wife has not been given a permanent visa. She has to go through an odyssey each time she wants to go.
"Liverpool refuse to sell, this can be overcome with an extraordinary offer." (SkySports)
The timing of his remarks couldn't have been at a worse time with the continued speculation surrounding Xabi Alonso's future and the uncertainty must be extremely unsettling for Benitez. How can he focus or get the squad fully prepared when two of his key players are openly touted with a move away. The first game of the season is a little over three weeks away and we need everyone pulling in the same direction. If Barcelona were to suddenly express an interest and show their intent then we could have a situation where Javier could make life very difficult for Rafa, regardless if the Spaniard rejected their bid. We have seen time after time that players generally get their own way and we are in grave danger of that happening here, now his agent has told the world about the mood of his client.
