Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti

Chelsea’s next three Premier League fixtures could make or break their season as far as the title race is concerned, and potentially decide what sort of future Carlo Ancelotti has at the club.

Should the Blues fail to win any of the games against Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal, they would fall even further behind the league’s heavyweights as well as risking dropping further down behind the likes of Spurs and Manchester City.

I can’t imagine our manager would be around very long if that became the case. It’s already the team’s worst run of form since Roman Abramovich arrived at the club and the likes of Luiz Felipe Scolari, Avram Grant, Jose Mourinho and Claudio Ranieri were forced out the door for a lot less.

But we can hope that there’s a little more patience this time, but Ancelotti has work to do and can’t just bemoan his bad luck. Of course, if we surprise everyone and win two or even three of these games then the talk of a ‘crisis’ will begin to disappear from people’s minds.

The players need to buck up their ideas too, as they have not exactly painted themselves in glory since the points and goals started to dry up over the past month or so.

But I’m hoping we get to see more of the real Chelsea and surely the lads will be motivated against the likes of Spurs, the Gunners and United?

What do the fans think? Will December make or break Chelsea’s season?
