With Chelsea about to sign this Brazilian, here’s a lesson for Blues fans…

Atletico Madrid left-back Filipe Luis is so determined to push a move to Chelsea through the door that he’s severed communication lines with his current club, reports the Express.

Traction around the story seems to be gathering momentum, particularly given the fact that veteran Ashley Cole was released by Jose Mourinho at the tail end of last season, while Diego Simeone has already completed a deal for a potential Luis replacement in the form of Brazilian Guilherme Siqueira.

A move to west London would complete a treble raid for Chelsea, with deals for striker Diego Costa and former Blues midfielder Tiago also signed off.

It would also swell the Samba Boy ranks at Stamford Bridge, with Luis set to join compatriots Ramires, Oscar and Willian in Mourinho’s quest to provide a stylish and progressive brand of football for Roman Abramovich.

With that in mind, Blues fans should probably crack on and start learning the Hino Nacional Brasileiro as quickly as possible, especially if they want to cheer on their lads in the latter stages of this World Cup.
