Safe to say, Vincent Janssen hasn't exactly impressed since turning up at White Hart Lane last summer and consequentially, most expect Tottenham Hotspur to be on the lookout for a striker once again during the coming transfer window.

Harry Kane remains the indisputable first choice but the England international needs a reliable understudy - preferably someone who can play in a few different roles and offer Pochettino a little more variety in the final third.

Accordingly, Spurs were linked with Bournemouth's Joshua King earlier this month and it's not hard to see why. The Norway international has been in phenomenal form during 2017 and produced yet another impressive display as Burnley travelled to the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.

Indeed, playing just behind frontman Lys Mousset, King ran the show going forward for the Cherries, completing four successful dribbles, laying on two chances for his team-mates and firing five efforts at goal - one of which beat Tom Heaton to secure a 2-1 win.

That takes the 25-year-old's tally for the season to a whopping 16, a return that could well convince the Lilywhites to put some money on the table this summer.
