Manchester United's prodigious attacker Marcus Rashford has won the FA Bristol Street Motors Fans' Premier League Player of the Month award for December after picking up 37% of the vote in a poll run by fan engagement experts Snack Media.

Five goals in seven Premier League appearances - including three in consecutive victories over Tottenham Hotspur and fierce local rivals Manchester City - helped the 22-year-old to beat Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold, who finished in 2nd place with 22% of the vote, to the monthly award.

In the first of five divisional votes carried out over nine days via Snack’s digital and social networks and supported by top flight football clubs and press, Rashford also left Sadio Mane and Adama Traore in his wake, with both players picking up 15% of the vote.

The flying Wolves winger certainly caught the eye in December by completing a breathtaking 53 dribbles, but his dazzling, direct style was no match for Rashford's prowess in front of goal. Kevin De Bryune, meanwhile, was unfortunate to claim just 4% of the vote after bagging three goals and three assists in the final month of the decade.

Clearly, Rashford's potent displays resonated most with Premier League fans across the country as Man United showed signs of improvement under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The full results of the vote for December's PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans' Premier League Player of the Month award were as follows...
