Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has been voted the last PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month for 2018 by football fans across the country.

In a vote run by fan engagement experts Snack Media, the Egyptian attacker won by a landslide, beating the likes of Manchester United’s Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford, Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Leicester City’s Ricardo Pereira, who also made the December shortlist.

In the first of four divisional votes carried out over seven days via Snack’s digital and social networks and supported by top flight football clubs and the press, it was clear that Salah’s strong performances last month - in which he scored six times and notched up four assists - has resonated not just with Reds fans, but also supporters of teams up and down the country.

The remaining nominees for the December award ranked as follows:

2nd - Paul Pogba

3rd - Ricardo Pereira

4th - Marcus Rashford

5th - Eden Hazard

6th - Harry Kane
