Norwich City star Teemu Pukki has been voted the PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Premier League Player of the Month for August.

In a vote run by fan engagement experts Snack Media, the Canaries striker won with a clear majority of the vote, 54%, beating Aston Villa’s Tyrone Mings, who finished in second place with 18%, as well as Manchester City duo Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling, Chelsea's Mason Mount and Burnley's Ashley Barnes.

In the first of five divisional votes carried out over nine days via Snack’s digital and social networks and supported by top flight football clubs and the press, the Finn's fantastic start to the season which saw him bag five goals in three games - including a hat-trick against Newcastle - earned him the Premier League award for August.
