Jimmy Bullard was, quite literally, one of English football’s great entertainers.
He remains a firm fan favourite for his mid-celebration lampooning of then-Hull manager, Phil Brown, his bemused glance at big Duncan Ferguson and of course, his bizarre take on the seemingly straightforward task of walking towards a camera for the Sky Sports graphics department.
Even in retirement, he took his infectious personality into the jungle on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and it came as little surprise when he landed a presenting role with Soccer Am in 2017.
With so much comedy value in the locker, it’s easy to forget that Bullard was actually a pretty decent footballer for Wigan and Fulham before a serious injury at Hull all but ended his playing career.
Even so, at 40-years-old no one would give him much of a prayer in a one-on-one competition with a Guinness World Record holding freestyler but check out the video above to see why those people may want to reconsider!
