Watch: Former Palace & Norwich man opens up about prison life

Former Crystal Palace and Norwich City striker, Leon McKenzie was jailed for four months in 2012 for sending bogus letters to police in a bid to avoid a driving ban and has now opened up about “the longest four months of my life” with Playmaker FC’s Emmma Conybeare.

Speaking candidly on her Match of the Bae podcast, McKenzie recalled the terrifying moment he first set inside, the perils of organising a game of football with his fellow inmates and how he turned his life around to pursue an amateur boxing career.
