Watch: Thogden meets English football’s most progressive owner

The recent bad blood between Bolton Wanderers and Forest Green Rovers over the transfer of striker Christian Doidge has turned into an unlikely allegiance.

On Saturday, Rovers’ chairman, Dale Vince invited a section of Wanderers fans to attend their League Two clash with Bury as a demonstration of unity against the Championship side’s owner, Ken Anderson – as reported by BBC Sport.

A free pint and a ‘No Ken Do’ t-shirt was part of the incentive to fans willing to make the 320-mile round trip and was the latest eye-catching move by a man who has turned his club from an eco-friendly cult phenomenon to a bonafide Football League outfit.

In the video above, Pl>ymaker FC’s Theo Ogden caught up with English football’s most progressive owner to discuss what makes the club so unique.
