Ross Barkley is undoubtedly one of the most exciting prospects in English football.
After stalling somewhat last term, the 21-year old Everton star has got back to his best this season after breaking through to the England side ahead of the 2014 World Cup.
Having drawn comparisons to the likes of Paul Gascoigne and Michael Ballack, it’s clear to see the Toffees star is held in pretty high esteem on Merseyside.

Ross Barkley would infuriate me if I was an Everton fan. All the tools to be a great player. Get your head up lad.

With England teammate Dele Alli continuing to impress with Tottenham Hotspur, fans are starting to mirror the two Three Lions hopefuls.
Never understood the hype around Ross Barkley. Plays well once in every 5/6 games. Alli much better.

Barkley was the Dele Alli of his day. A bit meh now isn't he. Flatters to deceive.
