16-year-old Arsenal starlet scores for U23 side

Arsenal have prided themselves on boasting talented young players that have risen through their youth ranks and Gooners have been given a new name to remember, with 16-year-old Reiss Nelson making a big impression.

Despite his tender age, Nelson has featured for Arsenal’s U23 side this season and he put in a fine performance against Chelsea recently, capping off his display at Stamford Bridge with a decent goal.

Having benefitted from training full-time with the squad last year whilst still a schoolboy, Nelson is rated as one of the most promising up-and-coming young players within Arsenal’s ranks- which is shown by the fact he’s regularly played well above his age group.

Recently profiled by Arsenal’s official website, Nelson travelled with England’s U19 side in the summer and scored nine goals in ten games, with the youngster transferring those performances to club level and finding the net against Ludogorets in the UEFA Youth League.

His goal against Chelsea has now been posted by¬†FFDTV, which you can watch below. There’s also a skill compilation of the player available to watch here!
