Fernando Torres may have had a terrible Chelsea career following his £50million move from Liverpool, but stats show that he is the highest scoring Spanish player in the Premier League, a great feat for a so-called flop!
Torres has now netted 85 league goals, with Arsenal star Mikel Arteta coming far behind with only 41 goals, followed closely by current Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas with 37.
Either these stats show that he is a super striker that cannot be caught or it highlights his huge fall from grace as the Reds goal-machine into a goal-drought attacker for the Blues.
He is now set for a sensational return to Atletico Madrid following a failed loan spell at AC Milan as we wait to see if he can rise again…
