It's been a funny old beginning to the season for Crystal Palace, who lost three consecutive games between their two only league victories this season.

Two wins from their opening five fixtures isn't particularly disastrous, though, and is of course a huge improvement on their start to last season's campaign, where they lost seven games in a row without scoring a single goal.

Interestingly, both of their victories have come away from Selhurst Park but they will be confident of picking up their first home points of the season against an out-of-sorts Newcastle side.

Rafa Benitez's Magpies are only off the bottom of the Premier League table on goal difference having picked up just one point from their opening five fixtures. It is worth noting, though, that their four losses so far have come against Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester City and Arsenal, so they'll be looking at this fixture as a winnable one.

Ahead of this game, we've teamed up with 5P0RTZ - the new revolutionary sports gaming experience - where YOU can win  big cash prizes! All you have to do is answer seven questions for a chance to be entered in to the prize pool.

Take a look at the questions below and then enter with a £5 stake before kick-off. The prize fund for this fixture is £100, with the winner pocketing a cool £50!

Palace v Newcastle

Question 1 - What will the result of the match be?

Given the form of both sides, a draw here is probably the most attractive option. Palace, despite usually being pretty strong at Selhurst Park, are yet to pick up a single point at home, while Newcastle's only point of the season came in a 0-0 draw away to Cardiff City.

5P0RTZ are offering three times the points for a draw, although a Newcastle victory offers the same so perhaps you might be fancy opting for an away win?

Question 2 - How many goals will be scored in the match?

Newcastle's fixtures have returned over 2.5 goals 80% of the time this season, but you have to consider the calibre of teams they've had to face already - they've played four of last season's top six in their opening five games.

Palace, on the other hand, have been involved in low scoring affairs throughout - 80% of their games have returned 1.5 goals. That's probably why 5P0RTZ are only willing to double your score from 4 or more and upwards, with them offering to hand you triple the points if you correctly select five or more goals.

We'd advise going with either two or fewer, or 3 or more, just to be safe.

Question 3 - Pick a player that will score at anytime during the match

Obviously we can't look past Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha here. The winger has scored three goals in just four league appearances this season and tends to thrive most when playing on home soil, despite that not quite being the case so far this season.

You can get double your points by selecting Zaha as an anytime goalscorer in this match and that's who we're going with.

Question 4 - How many corners will be taken during the match?

Both sides average relatively high total match corner counts - Palace's fixtures have averaged 10.2 corners and Newcastle's have averaged 9, so you're better off looking for 10 or more, but there is no multiplier on this selection - taking a gamble on 12 or more is what we're doing at two times the points if it comes in.

Question 5 - Pick one of these events to occur in the match

There are eight different scenarios to select from here, but none really stand out. We do quite like the goal in added time in either half option, which will multiply your points by three if it comes in.

It's going to be a low scoring game, with neither side necessarily doing much in an attacking sense so it's likely both will be pushing for a winner come the latter stages of the game. Dramatic stoppage time goal at Selhurst Park, anyone?

Question 6 - Pick a player that will receive a card at any time during the match

This is always a tough one and we would've gone for Wilfried Zaha, but he's not one of the options 5P0RTZ offers.

In that case, we're going for Jonjo Shelvey. He's yet to pick up a caution for Newcastle this season but, with this game more than likely to be won and lost in the midfield, he's going to be involved in play more than most.

Question 7 - In which minute will the first goal be scored in the match?

With four goals each so far this term, it's difficult to work out any kind of form for either side that could even slightly influence your decisions here.

However, if you look at the times in which both sides have conceded goals this season, there's more information to help guide your decision making - both have conceded five goals each in the second half, so a second half minute might be preferable here. That said, this one is a bit of a lottery.
