Manchester United may finally need to consider the addition of Galatasaray’s Wesley Sneijder after he has once again showcased his ability to find the net from any sort of angle.
The Red Devils have shown throughout the season that despite their star-studded front line, they are still having trouble with their attacking game, an issue the addition of Sneijder may help solve.
He scored the first goal by launching a shot from distance, leaving the Konyaspor goalkeeper dead in his tracks.
Then, he added to the scoring with a calm chip over the keeper, with both of his goals being scored in the first half.
The Netherlands international has been linked with United during the summer when Louis van Gaal was put in charge of the club and after failed attempts to bring him to Old Trafford, he was once again tipped to join them in January.
Having already worked together at international level, the addition of the former Inter Milan playmaker looks like the perfect combination to solve Van Gaal’s attacking troubles.
