Arsenal £24m deal could force ace to Liverpool

Arsenal’s potential £24m deal for Barcelona attacker Pedro could see Theo Walcott end up at Liverpool, according to reports from The Express.

The Gunners are believed to be tracking additions ahead of the looming summer transfer window, with the Nou Camp star having emerged as an option.

Pedro is currently behind the likes of Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi in the Barca pecking order, which has seen his game time limited.

The player himself has already admitted that he’s in a “difficult” situation, and reports now claim that Arsenal are ready to offer him an escape route.

Although the 2010 World Cup winner’s arrival would be good news at the Emirates Stadium, it could be quite the opposite for Walcott, and may potentially edge him to Liverpool.

The Reds are thought to be admirers of the pacey forward, who was mooted as a possible makeweight in a swap deal involving Raheem Sterling not long ago.
