Real Madrid are believed to have offered Fabio Coentrao to both Arsenal and Liverpool, as reported by the Express.
The 26-year-old looks to have lost his place in the squad this season and could be open to leaving after only being given two starts out of a possible 20 games.
He joined the Bernabeu outfit in 2011, signing a six-year-deal, but may be forced to cut it short as Marcelo continues his firm grip on the right-back position under boss Carlo Ancelotti.
Both Premier League clubs have been monitoring Coentrao, with Manchester United also one of the clubs being linked with him prior to the start of the current campaign.
However, the arrivals of Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo, and Daley Blind may have now eased the Red Devils’ interested in the Portugal international.
But Liverpool and Arsenal are believed to be keen on reinforcing their wing-back roles, and could opt to move for the defender in the summer.
