Arsenal and Man City eye Argentine winger

Arsenal and Manchester City are both tracking the availability of Angel Di Maria, along with Manchester United.

The Daily Star are reporting that the Premier League trio are all monitoring the Argentine, who could be on his way out of Real Madrid just a month after helping the club win “La Decima.”

Di Maria was many viewer’s Man of the Match in the Champions League final in May, but Real Madrid are reportedly ready to listen to offers of £40million for the winger. The 26-year-old has previously been linked with moves to PSG and Monaco too.

The 26-year-old, who is currently with Argentina as the nation build up to the World Cup this month, could be forced out as Carlo Ancelotti looks to make space for Chelsea’s Ramires and Liverpool’s Luis Suarez. Di Maria stayed at the Bernabeu last summer, despite the arrival of Gareth Bale, who has made a big impact in his debut season.

But the Argentine’s time in Madrid looks to be over this summer, with a move to the Premier League on the cards. Arsenal struggled whilst Walcott and Ramsey were sidelined through injury, and Arsene Wenger is expected to strengthen his squad this summer, in celebration of ending their trophy drought.
