The Brazilian international’s current deal is set to expire in June 2015, and he has found himself consistently monitored by the North London duo over the past couple of seasons.
Reports have linked the 28-year-old with a move away from Italian capital next year, but Hernanes insists he is perfectly happy with life in Serie A.
“I’m good at Lazio, I want to deny all the rumours regarding the situation of my future,” he told Lazio Style Radio.
“My contract? If the club think I deserve to stay then we will carry on together. There is plenty of time, I still have a year and a half left on my present agreement.”
Hernanes has proved to be an integral player for Lazio since joining from Brazilian club Sao Paulo in 2010, hitting an impressive tally of 40 goals in all competitions from midfield.
The news will come as a blow to both Arsenal and Tottenham, who had targeted the Brazilian for a potential January switch.
