Ciprian Marica has announced that he expects his future to be resolved in the coming weeks.
The 27-year-old was released by Schalke at the end of last season, and was unable to find a club throughout the summer.
But since the transfer window has closed his stock has risen, with clubs now looking to unattached players who are available despite the deadline having passed.
Marica says that he is negotiating with multiple teams, and that his plans should be in place soon.
“I am in negotiations with three teams,” he told Sky Sports.
“I hope I will be able to tell you the name of my next team by the end of next week.”
Marica has also been linked with Tottenham, while a number of European sides are believed to be keen.
Fiorentina have emerged as a potential destination, with La Viola having lost Mario Gomez to a serious injury.
Despite being without a club, Marica is still a part of his nation’s senior squad.
Would Ciprian Marica be a good signing for Arsenal or West Ham?
