According to talkSPORT Serie A outfit Lazio, are preparing a £9 million bid for Arsenal’s Moroccan international striker Marouane Chamakh.
The forward has only been at the Emirates for one season after joining on a free from Bordeaux last summer. Despite a positive start to his Gunners career, which saw him net ten times in all competitions after only a couple of months, Chamakh has now failed to score in the Premier League since November.
Lazio aren’t believed to be the only admirers of the attacker, with Marseille and an unnamed English club also said to interested in obtaining Chamakh’s services. However it is Lazio who appear to be making the first move, with club president Claudio Lotito ready to sanction the £9 million offer.
