Arsenal come from behind against Spurs to remain unbeaten

Arsenal had to come from behind to earn a point against north London rivals Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.

After a goalless first half that saw Arsenal enjoy most of the possession and the better of the chances, Erik Lamela played in Nacer Chadli to put the visitors in to a unexpected lead against the run of play.

Arsenal responded well, though, and squandered a number of good chances to level before Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain smash in the equaliser in the 74th minute after Danny Welbeck couldn’t connect on the six-yard box.

The draw is Arsenal’s fourth already this season, but they remain unbeaten in the Premier League so far, while Spurs sit in eighth and just two points behind the Gunners.
