Arsenal fans furious with Wanyama

Arsenal fans won’t be in the greatest mood to start the week, having drawn the North London derby with Tottenham and missing the chance to move top of the Premier League table, and one opposition player has been the focus for Gooners venting their frustration.

Spurs midfielder Victor Wanyama was described by Arsene Wenger has being fortunate to stay on the pitch, with a number of cynical fouls in the game but, rather incredibly, the Kenyan international wasn’t even booked by Mark Clattenburg.

That was despite pictures showing his elbow in Theo Walcott’s face twice and a late challenge on Olivier Giroud, which came moments after Laurent Koscielny was booked for a far weaker tackle at the other head.

Naturally, Arsenal fans were quick to pick up on the situation and have been venting on social media ever since- although some took the opportunity to have a quick dig at the player, rather than see red themselves.
