With the North London derby now just one day away, fans and players alike are gearing up for action.

Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli appeared to wind up some of Arsenal's following by posting a tweet reminding them of last season's defeat at White Hart Lane.

The 21-year-old scored the first goal in a 2-0 triumph for Spurs in what was their final derby at the stadium.

Arsenal lead the way in terms of trophies having won 13 league titles, while their rivals have only been crowned champions twice in their history.

However, there has been somewhat of a shift following last season, in which Spurs finished above the Gunners in the table for the first time in 22 years.

As it stands, Arsene Wenger's side are sixth in the league standings, four points behind their neighbours after 11 games.

Alli's tweet attracted the attention of some Arsenal fans, who decided to hit back by reminding their enemies of the club's lack of trophies.
