Arsenal fans struggling to cope with Chelsea ace

Despite having almost all summer to prepare for it, it doesn’t look like Arsenal fans have – or ever will – accept Cesc Fabregas’ decision to join Jose Mourinho in west London at Chelsea.

Arsene Wenger spoke earlier in the week about how his relationship with the former Barcelona midfielder isn’t frayed and how he expects Fabregas to receive a decent reception from the Arsenal fans.

Le Professeur may well want to avoid Twitter if he genuinely thought that, as it appears that Fabregas has well and truly burnt his bridges with the red half of north London – football fans very much carry the mentality that if you aren’t with us, you’re against us.

Imagine how they will react if the Spanish international puts on one of his trademark assists or, worse, buries the ball past Wojciech Szczesny…
