Arsenal & Man United target not interested in £30m move

Manchester United and Arsenal’s hopes of luring former Chelsea star Kevin De Bruyne back to England have been dealt a blow, with the player’s agent having ruled out a move for his client.

Both the Red Devils and the Gunners have been linked with the Belgium international of late, with the player having shone in Germany this season.

With 10 assists to his name, the Wolfsburg man is one of the Bundesliga’s shining lights on current form, and is a vital part of the Volkswagen-backed team’s push to qualify for the Champions League.

Reports suggest that Arsenal and United, as well as Manchester City, are ready to pay as much as £30m to lure the 23-year-old back to the Premier League, yet his agent, Patrick Koster, says that De Bruyne is happy playing regularly where he is and is not thinking about a switch:

“De Bruyne is feeling very good. After a difficult period at Chelsea he is finally playing continuously.” He is quoted by The Express.

“He does not want to move. He’s only concentrating on [getting Wolfsburg] to the Champions League.”

De Bruyne was officially a Chelsea player for two years before his exit 12 months ago, but he spent just half a season in the club’s first-team after loan spells at Genk and Werder Bremen.
