The Italy international, 22, is currently considered to be one of European football’s very best young playmakers, and has been a massive success in France since joining the Ligue 1 champions from Pescara a few years ago.
Despite his age, Verratti is already a regular in PSG’s star-studded XI, but that has not deterred interested parties.
Arsenal and United are just two of a host of clubs to have been linked with the pass-master, but his agent, Donato De Campli, has revealed that only mega offers will be considered for his client:
“Why would PSG sell him?” he is quoted by talkSPORT.
“This is the most important player they have in their midfield. We do not talk to anyone anyway! Marco is currently worth no less than € 50m.”
Verratti has not enjoyed a particularly successful time of it at club or international level of late though, with Italy having slipped out of the World Cup at the group stage, while PSG are currently off the summit of Ligue 1.
