Arsenal stopper gets the Twitter treatment

It has been a cracking first-half between Arsenal and Southampton as Ronald Koeman’s side look to prove their push for a top four spot isn’t a flash in the pan and that they’re in fact genuine contenders.

The Saints are well on their way to proving just that, with Sadio Mane giving the Saints a well deserved lead against top four regulars Arsenal.

Mane’s opener today was his third in as many games for Southampton and it was a thing that a) defied science and b) was a thing of beauty. The striker found the net from an improbable angle with Arsenal’s ‘keeper Wojciech Sczezesny finding himself in no man’s land.

No doubt questions will be raised – yet again – about the Poland stopper’s suitability to be Arsenal’s long-term No.1 after some more poor decision-making from the goalie.
