Arsenal didn't get the result they wanted against Bournemouth last night but you have to give some credit to the Gunners, as they fought back from 3-0 down in the second-half to secure a point from the game and prevent a defeat.

Olivier Giroud was the hero in the match as he provided two assists before scoring the equalising goal in added time, giving the Frenchman his third goal in as many matches and proving that the former Montpellier man has to remain in the first-team.

Giroud has certainly not been without his critics in the past but he's proved his importance for Arsenal so far this season, fighting back from the fringes of the first-team to re-establish himself amongst the starting XI.

Fans were full of support for their hero on social media as they forgot all about their woes earlier in the match, celebrating the equalising goal like it was a winner. The fact though is that it opens the door for Chelsea or Tottenham to take advantage tomorrow.
