Arsenal ace could complete £26m West Ham transfer if Hodgson issues England snub

According to reports from The Express, Arsenal star Theo Walcott could complete a £26million transfer to West Ham this summer if he’s not included in England’s Euro 2016 squad.

The winger-forward has struggled for form this season, recording just nine goals in 35 appearances across all competitions and netting only five times in the Premier League, and could resultantly miss out on a place in Roy Hodgson’s squad for the summer’s European Championship in France.

Should that be the case, Bleacher Reporter’s Dean Jones claims the 27-year-old will look to leave the Emirates during the coming transfer window in a bid to revive his stuttering international career – that has to date seen him accumulate 43 caps for the Three Lions.

And The Express, citing reports from Brentwood Gazette, speculate that could see Walcott complete a summer transfer to London rivals West Ham. The regional newspaper linked the Hammers with a £26million bid for the speedy attacker earlier this month – with Slaven Bilic keen to deploy him in his preferred position of centre-forward.
