Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is seeking a bumper new deal that would see his wages DOUBLE, according to Football Insider.
The England international is reportedly seeking a hefty increase on his current £52,000 a week contract in North London.
Amid links with moves to both Manchester United and Chelsea, the robust winger is said to be seeking a pay rise to put him on par with the likes of Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere.
At 22-years of age, he has become an increasingly big part of the Gunners’ first-team, despite the intense levels of competition within their engine room.
The club are thought to have opened discussions with the former Southampton youngster regarding an extension to his current contract, which ends in June 2018.
‘The Ox’, as he is affectionally known, arrived at the Emirates from Southampton in a transfer that could rise to £15m.
