Arsenal are lining up a £15m move for young Paris Saint-Germain midfield ace Adrien Rabiot, according to the Evening Standard.
The 20-year old French dynamo has often been linked with a switch to North London, whether it be in the form of a move to the Emirates, or bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
However, the swathe of injuries to key engine room options this season could prompt Gunners chief Arsene Wenger into making the first move in trying to land the PSG star.
Things have turned sour for the Frenchman after he requested a loan move away from the French capital earlier this season, with sections of the club’s support booing the player.
Now Marco Verratti has returned to first-team proceedings for the dominant Ligue 1 leaders, Rabiot appears to have lost his place in Laurent Blanc’s side.
As Wenger mounts a title challenge for the first time in years, a £15m move has been mooted as a genuine possibility now the transfer market is once again open for business.
