Arsenal already considering Scottish Championship ace for January

Arsenal are considering a move to cut Gedion Zelalem’s loan move to Rangers short in January, according to reports from the Scottish Sun.

The 18-year-old midfielder joined the Glasgow giants over the summer for the campaign in the second tier of Scottish football, and has been impressive for the in-form side.

His performances have helped the club to secure 33 points from just 12 matches, and reports claim that Arsene Wenger has been alerted after growing concerned that he currently lacks depth in his squad.

The Frenchman is thought to be have grown concerned after the Gunners’ 3-0 League Cup loss at the hands of Sheffield Wednesday, during which he rotated his team to give fringe players a go.

It’s understood that since then Wenger’s trusted friend, Liam Brady, was sent to watch the teenager against Hibernian with bringing him back to London on his mind.

Rangers currently top the table in the Scottish Championship and look on course for promotion back to the big time after financial issues forced the club to fold and start from the bottom division.
