Arsenal are battling it out with French champions PSG in the race to land Napoli ace Lorenzo Insigne, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The 24-year old Italian playmaker has been in excellent form this year, notching eight goals in 20 games as either a winger or an attacking midfielder.
Despite his relatively young age, he has made 130 appearances for his hometown side and remains one of the hottest talents in Serie A.
Now, the player’s agent has revealed that top clubs around the continent are taking note of the Italian’s talents amidst the January transfer market.
‘We are delighted about the interest of PSG and Arsenal’, Antonio Ottaiano told Radio Kiss Napoli.
‘We are talking about top clubs in the world of football, but Lorenzo is focused on Napoli.’
As the Gunners plot a serious title assault for the first time in years, manager Arsene Wenger is thought to be keen on adding midfield reinforcements.
