Speaking after the match, Mikel Arteta has lauded Bukayo Saka after the teenager's impressive performance against Olympiacos.

What did he say?

The 18-year-old provided the assist for the only goal of the game, delivering a pinpoint cross for Alexandre Lacazette to convert from close-range.

The set-up means Saka now has eight assists across all competitions for the season, and Arteta has praised the academy starlet's attitude and quality on the ball.

He said (as quoted by the club's official website): "I'm really pleased with the way he's developed. And I'm really pleased with the way he's handling these situations because there's a lot of highlight on him at the moment, but he's still really humble. He's still as keen to meet with my assistant, willing to improve.

"He's a great kid and he makes big decisions in the final third. He's not someone who hides. He's got the vision and the ability to execute when the spaces are really tight. That's a gift."

Destined for greatness

To think that Saka is producing great performances week-in and week-out in a role that is different to his natural position, is quite telling of the teenager's mentality.

The England youth international is predominantly a left-winger, but has slotted in with ease at left-back in the absences of both Sead Kolasinac and Kieran Tierney, providing one goal and three assists in 11 games in that role.

The Europa League has been his biggest hunting ground, registering two goals and four assists in just four games. The fact he has been a consistent member of the first-team squad under the likes of Unai Emery, Freddie Ljungberg and now Arteta (he has made 26 appearances this year), is a testament that he is impressing all the right people.

The sky really is the limit for Saka.
