Guingamp midfielder Gilbert Imbula is in demand with both Arsenal and Chelsea said to be chasing the youngster’s signature, according to the Daily Mail.
The 20-year-old has been a revelation for Guingamp this season and after helping them to the brink of promotion to Lique 1 in France, Europe’s top clubs are starting to show an interest.
The Gunners and Chelsea are among them, while Lyon could also offer him the chance to stay in France if Guingamp feel they have no option but to cash in on their star man.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has often turned to his homeland for new talent and the price would appeal to him as reports claim £8million would be enough to do a deal.
Chelsea are also known for snapping up Europe’s hottest young prospects before loaning them out and a deal that would see Imbula return to Guingamp for next season could be on the cards.
