That heralded a lucrative move to FC Porto for the former Granada man, who has gone on to bag 21 goals in 84 appearances for the Primeira Liga outfit.

According to A Bola, Arsenal, Chelsea and AC Milan have all expressed an interest in signing the 26-year-old before the summer window slams shut.

However, FC Porto are demanding £26million for Brahimi, partly because they don’t own his full playing rights, but the aforementioned trio are only willing to pay around half that sum.

The Gunners and the Blues have been rather quiet on the transfer front so far this summer, bringing in three and two new signings respectively.
